i found the location really amazing by the river, so beautiful. the staff was really friendly. the breakfast selection was really good too (i especially liked the bacon!).
The room was far too hot. There were no windows at all. our room on the ground floor had a door which opened directly into the bar garden area. people were walking past our door constantly, and we had no privacy.

Breakfast had a very good selection.
The room smelled strongly of bleach. It was not very cute. The TV buzzed constantly. I had to exit the main building and walk to another small building to reach my room, which I found unacceptable.

A Grateful Guest Experience

The location has a lovely array of outdoor tables and chairs. I found that they were in various places by the river. The restaurant is in a conservatory. It is comfortable with great views over the river. Breakfast was delicious. I especially enjoyed the gluten-free granola. It was made on site, and I also had tasty halloumi and smashed avocado.
The sofas and chairs in the room looked dirty and worn. The arms were particularly so. I noticed chipped paintwork and tired decor throughout the hotel. The tea and coffee facilities were basic, I found no water provided in the room.

poor serviceair conditioning
i found a couple of issues . the lack of air conditioning in the bedroom was quite noticeable, especially on a hot day. also, i had to wait over 40 minutes to receive fresh milk and water for the room (i even had to call again). this service was poor (especially when one considers the price).
